What is so great about Wingstop is the vast amount of different flavors and sauces available. You could even argue that there is too much choice, but who are we kidding? There’s no such thing as too many flavors. It’s a challenge to try all the flavors instead of a hindrance!

After much deliberation, many taste tests, and a lot of messy fingers, we have decided on the best 11 best Wingstop sauces and flavors available. This article counts down to our top pick.

11. Mild

Coming in at number 11 we have the mild flavor. We think that this option is definitely underrated. When you visit Wingstop, it is very easy to become distracted by all the different amazing flavors and sauces that are available.

But sometimes mild is better. If you are someone that does not enjoy too much sauce or flavor, but love chicken, this is the perfect option for you. It has just the right amount of sauciness and spice, without it being too overpowering. 

It has a similar taste to the Original Hot recipe, but it is far less spicy. However, it still does have a small kick to it, which we really appreciate.

10. Louisiana Rub

If you are looking for a flavor rather than a sauce, we would recommend the Louisiana Rub. It has taken our number 10 spot because it is truly delicious. While it is dry, the juiciness of the chicken compliments it well.

If you are a fan of Cajun spice, this is a great option for you. It is not too mild, and it is not too spicy, it is a great mixture of both.

It provides the perfect amount of crispiness, and it is full of flavor. While it may not be one of the most popular Wingstop flavors, we think that it is fantastic.

If you enjoy the taste of Cajun, but prefer your wings to be saucy, instead of trying the Louisiana rub, we would definitely recommend the Cajun. However, it is not for the faint hearted and sure does pack a punch!

For those who do not enjoy the heat from a sauce and are looking for a sweet, yet savory option, the Hawaiian is a great choice. While it may not be spicy, if you are looking for tasty sauce, this is one of the best at Wingstop.

As the name suggests it is full of flavor, and is beautifully citrusy. The flavor compliments the chicken well, and it is a fantastic option for those that enjoy Asian inspired flavors.

In complete contrast to the Hawaiian wings, we have the Atomic wings. They are not for the faint hearted, and if you can’t handle the heat, don’t blame us – we warned you! This sauce is seriously spicy, and it is the hottest option on the Wingstop menu.

Wingstop didn’t hold back when creating this sauce. It is certain to make your lips tingle and your eyes water! But while it is very spicy, it is full of flavor too. You can taste the flavors and spices within the sauce, even though it is intense.

This is great because often with hot sauces, they are too spicy to enjoy. This is a flavor that will always be one of our favorites. 

5. Garlic Parmesan

If you are a more mellow person that enjoys eating wings without your eyes watering, you may want to try the garlic Parmesan. This is one of our go-to options when we don’t fancy a spicy sauce.

As its name suggests, it is a dry rub that features garlic and Parmesan. The flavors are strong, and these wings always smell incredible.

While they are dry, the garlic is buttery, and the flavors complement the chicken perfectly. For those who love garlic, and Parmesan, you really can’t go wrong with this option.

4. Lemon Pepper

Now we are getting closer to our top spot. At number four we have the Lemon Pepper. This is another dry rub that is bursting with flavor.

This is an option we order regularly because it is a perfect combination of heat, and flavor. The heat is not too overpowering because the wings are too spicy to eat, and you can taste the tang and flavors well. If you visit Wingstop, you have to consider trying out their Original Hot. 

2. Spicy Korean Q

In a close second we have the Spicy Korean Q. This is our second choice because it features everything we love in a sauce. While it is full of flavor, it is still hot, and leaves your mouth tingling. It is thick, and has a fantastic balance of sweet and savory flavors.

As it is Korean inspired, it features some of our favorite flavors, such as sriracha, and ginger. It really is the perfect combination of ingredients, and none of the flavors overpower the other.

1. Hickory Smoked BBQ

Last, but certainly not least is our top spot… which goes to Hickory Smoked BBQ! When it comes to wing sauces, you cannot beat BBQ.

We love this flavor because Wingstop has created the perfect BBQ sauce. It is rich, thick, and full of flavor. You can taste the smokiness, and it has just the right amount of sweetness.

While this sauce is not the hottest featured, this is what makes it the best. It still has a good level of spice and heat without it being overpowering. The BBQ sauce works perfectly with the juicy chicken, and it tastes amazing!
